Ship: 374 tons
Master: John Grey
Surgeon: Samuel Norway
Departed: Plymouth, 2 July 1842
Arrived: 19 November 1842

The Blenheim cleared Plymouth Sound on 2 July 1842 with a complement totalling 159, made up of 110 emigrants, 7 steerage and 42 first and second cabin passengers. Her first port of call was Port Nicholson (Wellington) where she arrived on Thursday 3 November 1842, eventually reaching New Plymouth roadstead late on 19 November 1842, passengers disembarking on Sunday 20 November. Four births were recorded - all girls - on the voyage to New Zealand. 1 of these babies only survived a few days and was the only death on the voyage.
Captain Gray had trouble with his crew throughout the voyage, mainly from liquor. One of the seamen was lost overboard.
